Edwardian Conservatory Upgrade – From Polycarbonate to a High-Performance Roof
This Edwardian conservatory originally featured a polycarbonate roof, which left the space prone to temperature extremes and poor insulation. The homeowners wanted a more thermally efficient, stylish solution that would integrate seamlessly with their bungalow while improving usability all year round.
We replaced the outdated polycarbonate roofing with a Cwtch Roof, designed to enhance insulation and aesthetics. Due to the bungalow’s low fascia, a bespoke box gutter was carefully installed beneath the tiles to ensure smooth drainage.
Additionally, we replaced all windows with A-Rated double glazed white uPVC units, completing the transformation with a fresh, energy-efficient upgrade.
